Coach Clete Knippa

Coach Clete Knippa is the Lion's Offensive Line Coach.  In addition, Coach Knippa coaches Track and Field and powerlifting.  He teaches 7th grade history at Ozona Middle School.  Prior to joining the Lion Family, Coach Knippa was at Midland Greenwood.  

Coach Knippa graduated high school from Midland Greenwood, TX where he was a Ranger football and track athlete.  He played under Steve Taylor who was Greenwood's Head Football Coach at the time and is Jarryd Taylor's (Ozona's current Athletic Director) father.

He attended University of Texas Permian Basin in Odessa, TX and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Coach Knippa enjoys golfing, hunting, and fishing in his spare time.  His favorite band is the Zac Brown Band.
