FORSAN, TX FORSAN – The Lady Buffs hosted the Ozona Lady Lions Friday night in an important district contest. Forsan jumped out to and early double digit lead and never looked back and they imposed their will on Ozona the entire game.The great team effort and performance gave the Lady Buffs an impressive 64-20 district win to take their district record to 2-1 despite shooting an abysmal 3-24 from behind the arc. Emily Garcia led all scorers with 17 points and led the Lady Buffs in rebounds with 13 boards as well as 3 big blocks . Rylee and Macey Evans dominated the back court with a combined 29 points, 15 steals and 12 rebounds. Rylee had 14 points, 8 steals and 5 rebounds in the game while big sister Macey had 15 points, 7 steals and 7 rebounds. Ella Hoff also had a good game with 9 points and 5 rebounds. The Lady Buffs with host Christoval next Tuesday with the chance to get their third district win of the season.
