We were very proud of our boys and the way they continue to fight till the end. They have no quit in them and that’s something that’s hard to coach. These kids are going to battle all night long for each other and for this community. We had a lot of missed opportunities in the game; we left several points on the board in the first half especially. We hurt ourselves with some bad penalties as well. Wink has a very good football team and will make a deep run in the playoffs but we feel like we could have won that game. The opportunity was there we just didn’t execute. Our Ozona Lions will learn from this experience and we’ll continue to improve each day. We want to put this behind us and get ready for Big Lake now.
