The OMS took another road trip Thursday, Sept. 24 and squared off against the Bulldogs of Brady Texas. The home team kept the ball for a quarter and a half before scoring on a fourth down and 12 pass. The Lions took the kickoff and after 4 plays found the end zone and at half the score was tied 8-8. The second half the Lions took the kickoff and marched down field and scored their second touchdown converted on the 2 pt to take a 16-8 lead. The Bulldogs pulled within 2 points on another fourth down TD pass (16-14). The score stayed this way until the final 2 minutes of the game when the Lions had an opportunity to run the clock out, but due to crucial illegal procedures were forced to punt. The punt was not successful and the Bulldogs took up shop at the Lion 25 yard line. With just 9 seconds left in the game the Bulldogs were able to push the ball across for a 20 to 16 lead and with a successful 2 point try—made the final score 22-16.
