The Lions took out the frustration on the Bulldogs of Brady 48-0. Hudson Fowler led the way on offense completing crucial passes to Michael Daniels. The run game behind Ryan Hurst was successful as well. The defense smothered the Bulldogs with many plays that resulted in negative yards. The second half the Lions were able to work on their basic run offense for future game situations. The play of the Lions garnered a compliment from the Head Official who stated “He had coached 28 years and never had seen such quality execution on offense and defense by a junior high team both 7th and 8th grade”, I thanked him on the staff’s behalf for the complimentary words. The Lions will host Johnson City Eagles at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept 31 at Lion Stadium—so come out and support the Lions—and a special shout to the parents, friends, and cheerleaders who support the young Lions.
