JV LIONS LOSE TOUGH GAME TO COAHOMA

The JV Lions play in Coahoma Thursday, October 15th due to Johnson City game being moved to later in the year. The young Lions team played hard but were unable to keep up with Coahoma as the Bulldogs won the game 42-6. The game started strong as the Lions were able to score on their first drive when Dusty Smith took the ball on a 60 yard scamper. The Bulldogs responded offensively and were able to tighten up defensively for the remainder of the game. Eddie Rios showed promise as he was able to be versatile enough to go from OL to RB in the game to fill in for injured players. The Lions record is now 2-3
