The Varsity Girls played at Wink January 12. The first half the girls came out to play in the second quarter by outscoring the Wildcats by nine points and taking a 21-17 lead into halftime. The third quarter is what really hurt the Lady Lions as they struggled to get going and fell behind 31-24. However, the fourth quarter was a different story as the girls found a way to get things together. With two minutes to play and down by four, the girls had some crucial steals that lead to four points. We scored with 3 seconds left in the game and gave us the lead by 2 points. Overall the girls have come a long way and the hard work and dedication is showing. Coach Myers says, "These girls are a special group of girls that will do anything and everything to get a win.
