The JH Football team had a very successful day in Big Lake as they were able to pull off a 18-14 win against Reagan County and ruin the hopes of a homecoming win for the Owls. The 7th grade came back from behind early and secured the win after big 4th quarter stop and a great offensive drive for the go ahead touchdown. The Lions were lead by several players to victory. Rylie Barrera led the offensive side of the ball with 3 touchdowns and Nolan Martinez was tenacious on the defensive side of the ball. The Offensive line helped the team sustain a dream shattering 7 minute drive to begin the 3rd quarter that limited the amount of time Reagan County had to score. The entire team played extremely well and all coaches were proud of their effort. The kids look forward to playing a home game next week.
