In 8th grade action, the Lions were catapulted to victory over Brady 38-6. Tino Castillo started the scoring onslaught after he caught a huge 70 yard touchdown pass from Trey Preddy. Christian Villarreal also had a big night running the ball for multiple touchdowns as he ran behind a dominating offensive line that was anchored by DJ Esparza and Jacoby Ramos. The defense played stellar all night and flew to the ball, limiting Brady to 1 touchdown on the night, which happened late in the game.
