We were able to bounce back this week after the disappointment in Johnson City. The kids were very focused on getting this win throughout practice this week and their efforts showed Friday night. We came out swinging and never looked back. Our QB's were able to have some success throwing the ball against Center Point which was a major emphasis coming into the game. We need to be able to throw the ball when teams are stacking the box on us. Charles Childress and Hudson Fowler both did a great job of distributing the ball through the air and allowing the run game to open up for our backs. Our offensive line did an excellent job opening holes and protecting our QB's all night long. Everything starts with the big guys up front, if they succeed the team succeeds. As usual our defense played fast and furious all night long keeping Center Point at bay. We attack and fly to the football extremely well and we scored two touchdowns defensively. Everything came together for the Ozona Lions Friday night and we look forward to the next opportunity when we travel to Brackettville to take on the Tigers.
