7th grade Lions took a hard loss to the combined JH Harper Longhorn team on Thursday. The Lions fought very hard throughout the game, but came up short of achieving a victory. Almost every score on the night came on 4th down. The Lion defense held tight on 1st-3rd down all night, but 4th down conversations were the Longhorns best friend as they were able to convert 4 4th downs and turn them into TD’s. The Lions were also able to turn a 4th down into a TD after Rielee Barrera took the ball in for a 64 yard run. Nolan Martinez played an exceptional game on both sides of the ball. The final score was 30-14. The final game will be against Mason. Current record for the Lions is 5-3
