The Varsity Lions headed to a sunny Fort Stockton TX for their first round of District Golf on March 28th. Following 18 holes of golf, the boys team sits in 2nd place with a score of 441 behind McCamey's 429. Wink is close behind in third with a score of 445. Christoval in fourth place with 497. Charles Childress led the team with a score of 99 followed by Kurt Bean with a score of 110. Seth Childress turned in a 113, Hernan Hernandez had a 119, and Westyn Hubbard turned in a 123. Students competing in individual medalist competition: Tell Nowell scored 126 Grant Childress scored 139 Sebastian Fullinghim scored a 135 The Lions return to Fort Stockton next Monday for Round 2.
