Early Lead For Eldorado Seals Fate For Ozona Lions Varsity

EARLY LEAD FOR ELDORADO SEALS FATE FOR OZONA LIONS VARSITY

Ozona Lions Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 15-1 loss to Eldorado on Tuesday. Eldorado scored on a stolen base, a single by #1, and a single by #14 in the first inning. The Ozona Lions Varsity struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Eldorado, giving up 15 runs. In the first inning, Eldorado got their offense started when #10 drew a walk, scoring one run. Eldorado scored six runs in the fourth inning. The offensive firepower by Eldorado was led by #1, #15, #3, #4, and #5, who all drove in runs. #10 toed the rubber for Eldorado. The ace lasted five innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out 13. Max Everett was on the mound for Ozona Lions Varsity. The bulldog surrendered six runs on five hits over two and a third innings, striking out three. Hudson Fowler threw two and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen.
