Our 8th grade girls finished second to Christoval by 4 points. They are a gritty and competitive group of outstanding young ladies. The 8th grade group of district 7-2A as a whole was special to see them compete and in the end, the team scores were so close that 1st place team through 4th place teams were separated by 7 points, and 3-4th were a tie and tie breaker. Medalists: Emily Shaffer 6th place, Avery Davidson 10th places Our 7th grade girls finished 5th and had so many bright moments this season. They truly are learning what it means to be a competitor. Each one is a light in our teams and will have great things happen over the next year that make them successful and better for next year. Our 7th grade boys- They had 5 boys, just enough for a team. After losing a runner Aiden Quiroz stepped up to run and help the team! He helped us have 5 again to score as a team and they came away third.
