The Lady Lions dropped the first game of the series against Miles, 5-4. We opened up the first inning with a quick two runs and held the lead until the 3rd inning. The game remain tied until the bottom of the 5th, Miles went ahead 5-2. The Lady Lions held Miles going into the 7th inning and cut the lead to 5-4, with the tying run on 2nd and finished the game stranding the runner. The girls played very well and are determined, once again, to go back and get 2 wins. We will play game 2 in San Angelo (Lakeview), Monday 5/1 at 5:00, with the 3rd game following shortly after if necessary. ~~Coach Duarte
